Why the hat and the spreadsheet fail
Not because they are clumsy. Because in each of them somebody has to know too much.
The organiser knows
Whoever builds the spreadsheet sees every pair. So either they sit the game out, or the draw stops being secret for exactly one person — usually the one who did all the work.
You buy blind
You drew someone from another floor and all you know is that they drink coffee. It ends with a mug. The third one this year.
The rules get lost
Budget and date were agreed on the team chat three weeks ago, between two memes. Half the team remembers a different number.
Someone drops out
One person off sick, another changed jobs — and the whole draw has to be repeated, together with explaining to everyone why.

You buy the plan
One payment for the whole group of ten, VAT invoice straight to the company. No per-seat pricing and no annual contract.

You invite by e-mail
You type the addresses, everyone gets a link. Anyone who has not clicked shows up as pending — you see that before you draw.

Everyone writes a list
Up to five ideas with links and prices. Everyone sees everyone’s lists, so nobody buys blind — and still nobody knows who buys for whom.

You click “Draw”
Everyone gets an e-mail with their one person. Nobody ever draws themselves and nobody sees anyone else’s pair.
Set the rules once — everyone sees them
Budget, exchange date and your own rules go into the group settings. They show up on the draw page and in every invitation, so nobody has to dig through the chat.

🔒 The secret is the whole product
Which is why we enforce it in code, not in the terms of service:
- Everyone sees only their own drawn person — on the page and in the e-mail.
- The organiser is no exception. They draw too and see exactly as much as everyone else.
- Nobody ever draws themselves — that is guaranteed by how the draw works, not by retrying until it looks right.
- After the draw the group is closed, so the result cannot be quietly “fixed”.
The full assignment is visible only to our technical support — so that we can answer when somebody loses their e-mail or a group reports a problem. No participant, the organiser included, has access to it.

No. Only the organiser pays — one payment for the whole group. Everyone else joins with a link from the e-mail and never enters payment details.
Yes, each participant creates one — without it we cannot give them a private wish list or show the draw result to them alone. It takes a few seconds and installs nothing.
The draw covers only the people already in the group. You see how many are missing and decide whether to wait. The minimum is three people.
No. The draw happens once and cannot be undone — otherwise there would be no way to guarantee that nobody peeked at the result before the “fix”.
Yes. At checkout you tick “buying as a company” and give the tax ID. The invoice is issued automatically and filed with the Polish national e-invoicing system.
A hundred and eighty days from purchase — enough for the whole Christmas season and for going back to the lists afterwards.
